Album: Late January 2000 - Still almost stock
These pictures were taken ~1 month after getting my Legend. I installed a set of fog lights and painted the front trim peice, the rest of the trim, minus the door trim, followed shortly after.

Album: May 2000 - Engine rebuild due to headgasket failure
In May of 2000 my father and I rebuilt the top-end of my engine when the headgasket blew. While I was at it I ported and polished the intake manifold and intake and exaust ports of each head. I wish I took more pictures.

These include finished mods such as my 17" Team Loco 150 rims wrapped in Dayton Daytona ZR 235/40R/17, PowerStop Cross-drilled rotors, Blue painted calipers, painted body trim finished and clear corner reflectors.

Album: March 2001 - Stromung Exaust
A few low-quality pictures of my exuast after installing it. I unfortunatly didn;'t have a good camera handy and didn't take any pictures during the installation. There wasn't much to take pictures of for the installation.

Album: May 2001 - Bayou Performance Chip Upgrade
I ordered a Bayou Performance Chip in May which required me to remove my ECU and ship it out to them. I got it back a few days later.

Album: June 2001 - Lowered
Lowered my Legend with Konis and Eibachs. 2" in the front and 2.25" in the rear. I bought both of these from a group buy arranged on the Legend Forums I also installed an Ingalls camber kit shortly after.

Album: August 2001 - Level 10 Auto Tranny kit and Pro-Torque High Stall Torque Converter
In July of 2001 I blew out second gear on my auto tranny. I drove around without second gear until I decided on what I was going to do. In August I puchased a Level 10 tranny rebuild kit and a high-stall torque converter. This is the only work on the car that I did not do myself. I dared not delve into the black magic of automatic transmissions. If this auto gives me any more trouble in the future a manual swap may be in order :p

These are pictures I took of different phases of installing my new Katskinz leather seats.

Album: November 2001 - B&M Transmission Cooler
Due to the torque converter the transmission was running extremely hot after some hard driving. I installed a B&M 6"x11"x1.75" B&M transmission cooler. At the same time I replaced the radiator as the other one sprung a leak.

I painted the front grill wire mesh; it was heavily tarnished from the weather. It was a warm day in January so I decided to wash and take some pictures. These pictures are from a cheap digital camera. I took better ones on film that will be along in the future.

Got my windows tinted, 35% all around today. Had to snap some quick shots and post them. My car is dirty in these pictures, oh well.

This engine was neglected of oil and was destroyed because of that. So I managed to get my hands on it as a small project to dissasemble and play with.

Lack of oil seizes the cam to the head and the cam gets split in half.

Album: Engine Rebuild - July - November 2002
I blew another headgasket. This time I have a backup car to drive so I can take my time and do some heavy performance modifications. I am having custom headwork done, grabbing cams and intake valves from a Type II engine for a 30hp boost along with a more agressive porting and polishing, possibly getting the exaust manifolds sent to Extrude Hone due to lack of header availability, dropping on a Type II intake manifold and custom metal headgaskets are being made for me by KMS to assure that I will never blow another headgasket in this car again.
